About this experience
DESCRIPTION
Kanto Lampo Waterfall or Kanto Lampo Waterfall is a waterfall located in the lowlands, so access to the location is not too difficult. The shape of the waterfall that has steps makes it even more special. The name Kanto Lampo is based on the presence of trees that grow around the river. The fruit is always changing color, meaning that when it is still early it grows green, then turns yellow, when it is ripe the fruit will turn red. Kanto Lampo Waterfall was formed due to overflow of water in the clogged soil, the groundwater is used for irrigation channels. In addition, the location of this waterfall is considered sacred by the indigenous community, because it is considered a sacred place or beji for Mendak Toya Ning (Seeking Holy Water) for the ceremony of Dewa Yadnya or Pitra Yadnya. There is also a cave on the other side of the river which is said to have been used by the Dutch troops as a secret place to strategize.
