Family ITAS

Build a home together in Indonesia

What you need to know

The Family ITAS, also referred to as the Spouse Visa, is accessible to individuals who are legally married to either an Indonesian citizen or a foreigner holding a Work KITAS or Investor KITAS.
This visa is granted based on the following terms:
- A validity duration of 5 years, necessitating an annual renewal, for those who are formally wedded to an Indonesian citizen.
- Corresponding to the duration of the spouse's KITAS*, if the spouse holds an Investor KITAS that extends beyond 1 year, the Family KITAS will be issued for 1 year.

*Note: KITAS refers to the residence permit for foreign nationals in Indonesia.

With a Family ITAS, you'll enjoy a range of benefits that enhance your experience in Indonesia:
- Path to Permanent Residence: If you are officially married to an Indonesian citizen, you can apply for a permanent residence KITAP after 2 years of marriage.
- Multiple Entry Permit: You'll have the convenience of multiple entry permits throughout the validity of your KITAS, allowing you to travel in and out of Indonesia as needed.
- Bank Account Privileges: You can open a bank account, facilitating your financial transactions and management.
- Leasing Land: The Family KITAS enables you to lease land, providing opportunities for real estate and property dealings.
- Driver's License and Vehicle Ownership: You have the chance to obtain a driver's license and purchase a car or motorcycle, giving you the freedom of mobility.
- Medical Assistance Discount: Access to discounted medical assistance ensures your well-being is taken care of more affordably.

Embrace these advantages and make the most of your time in Indonesia with a Family ITAS.

Processing time: 1,5 – 2 months (does not include public holidays and days off)

Important note: eVisa is an approval letter to enter Indonesia. KITAS is a temporary stay permit that you will get after the process of reporting E-Visa to immigration after your arrival to Indonesia.
