What you need to know

The Second Home visa is designed for specific foreign nationals and former Indonesian citizens who have a desire to reside in Indonesia and contribute positively to the country's economy. With the Second Home ITAS, individuals are granted the privilege to remain in Indonesia for 5 or 10 years (subject to meeting all conditions), engaging in a variety of non-work-related activities.

Furthermore, holders of the "Second Home" ITAS have the option to sponsor their family members (followers), enabling them to acquire permits with the same duration as the visa's validity.

Documents you need

    The official currency used in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). While having some cash is advisable, credit cards are widely accepted in most tourist-centric regions.
  • How can I move around in Bali?

    Yes, it is possible to change your tourist Visa to a different type while in Indonesia. However, you must visit the Bali Immigration Office and apply for a Visa change.   • Is a return ticket mandatory when applying for an Indonesian Visa?
    No, a return ticket is not mandatory when applying for an Indonesian Visa. However, Indonesian Immigration may ask for proof of onward travel, so we recommend that you have a confirmed ticket or booking before you apply for the Visa. If you do not have a confirmed ticket or booking, we can assist you with booking a return ticket, if required.
