What you need to know

For those intending to pursue studies in Indonesia, a student visa offers the pathway. Prior to applying for this visa category, it's essential that the applicant is formally enrolled in an educational institution or has secured admission into an educational program.

To successfully obtain a student visa, the following documentation is typically required:
- A duplicate of the ID card of the educational institution's director.
- A copy of the educational institution's license, affirming its legitimacy and allowing you to study there.
These documents substantiate your eligibility and commitment to educational pursuits in Indonesia, facilitating the student visa application process.

Processing time: 2 – 2,5 months (does not include public holidays and days off)

Important note: eVisa is an approval letter to enter Indonesia. Kitas is a temporary stay permit that you will get after the process of reporting E-Visa to immigration after your arrival to Indonesia.

    The official currency used in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). While having some cash is advisable, credit cards are widely accepted in most tourist-centric regions.
  • How can I move around in Bali?

    No, a return ticket is not mandatory when applying for an Indonesian Visa.
